Best Indian in town. I have eaten at all of the Indian restaurants in Lincoln and by far this is my favorite when it comes to the food. Everything I've eaten there is delicious and comes in large portions. The staff and service is prompt and attentive. The atmosphere is nice, though not as upscale "authentic" as say The Oven. I like that it is small and informal. Its sort of a "hole in the wall" restaurant. However, what it may lack for some in atmosphere is definately made up for in the food. The only thing I would mention is the prices. The evening menu is a bit high but if you eat there for lunch like I normally do then the prices are very reasonable. It is probably my favorite restaurant in town and I recommend it to all my friends.

Very nice little place. Good Indian food, Freindly waitstaff, and really nice ambiance. Food and prices are comparable to The Oven, but I prefer the atmoshpere here. They sometimes get orders wrong but are always prompt and more than willing to correct it, but all the food is good even if it's not what you ordered

A Great Little Restaurant. Sher-E-Punjab is a small, charming restaurant with a mulligatawny soup made with chickpea that is out of this world. I also love indulging in the naan (bread) appetizers and a creamy yogurt-based drink with choices of rose water, mango, or strawberry. Favorite main dish there: chicken vindaloo. Unlike the other reviewer, I think the prices are quite fair.

Although I currently live in a small town in South Dakota, I've eaten at a lot of restaurants, ethnic and otherwise, in Minneapolis, Omaha, Chicago, and many cities not in the Midwest. This is a fine small restaurant that deserves at least one visit; it is a restaurant which my husband I have returned many times and is a favorite with people in the know about Indian food.

Ghetto food. too expensive food for being considered a university dining option. I think the prices per dish should drop at least by $3-4 per plate considering the quality of the food and quantity.

The chef is really weird but nice. Watchout for the mole..mmmooooollllleeeee!!!!

Service could be improved by showing customers dignity. Unfortunately, they possess very poor skills in with the winelist and recommendations.

I urge not to visit this place when sober, but the mole on the owner's face is really creepy but funny to stare at.
